Nested List is an outliner for notes and plans, operated by Sergei Vinderskykh (“we”, “us”). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Nested List stores an outline you write, keeps it in sync across your devices, and offers optional extras such as search, a read-only view of today's Google Calendar events, adding an event you choose to your Google Calendar (asked for separately, only when you first press Add), and sending an email you write from your own Gmail, with people from your Google contacts suggested as you type who it goes to (asked for separately, only when you first press Send). It has Free and paid Premium plans and is under active development, so features may change. The current features and limits of each plan are shown on the Pricing page.
You need an email address to sign in. Keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@nestedlist.com if you believe someone else has reached your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nested List.
Every new account starts with a 30-day Premium trial without a payment card. When the trial ends, the account moves to Free unless you choose a paid subscription. Premium is offered at $80 USD a year, selected by default, or $15 USD a month. Your subscription renews automatically on the interval you choose until you cancel it.
Accounts created before 31 December 2026 qualify for locked early-bird prices of $40 USD a year or $8 USD a month. Those early-bird prices are locked for the life of the qualifying account. We may change other prices or plan limits in future, with reasonable notice, but we will not increase those locked early-bird prices.
You can manage or cancel Premium yourself from Settings → Account. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, Premium continues during a 14-day payment-recovery period and then the account moves to Free; your notes and existing files are not deleted.
Stripe provides checkout and subscription management through Managed Payments, with
Onelink acting as the merchant of record. The merchant of record collects
payment, calculates and remits applicable transaction taxes, and issues receipts and
refunds. The final amount and currency are shown before you confirm payment. Charges may
appear as LINK.COM* NESTEDLIST.
If you request a refund within 14 days of any charge, we will provide a full refund, no questions asked. Contact support@nestedlist.com. This policy does not limit any consumer rights the law gives you.
You keep all rights to everything you put into Nested List. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export everything at any time from Settings → Data. You can delete your account yourself from Settings → Account; Nested List builds a final archive first and gives you a private download link that remains available for 30 days.
Do not use Nested List to break the law, to store or distribute material you have no right to, or to attack the service or other users — for example by attempting to reach another account's data, probing for vulnerabilities, or generating load designed to degrade it. Emails you send from Nested List go from your own Gmail and are yours: do not use them for spam or other unsolicited bulk email. We may suspend or remove accounts that do these things.
We try to keep Nested List running and your data safe, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will never lose data. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export in Settings → Data exists for exactly this.
Nested List relies on other providers, and connects to Google Calendar and Gmail if you ask it to. Stripe and Onelink also provide payment services if you buy Premium. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is entirely optional and can be disconnected at any time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost business, arising from your use of Nested List. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may change these terms; the date above will change with them, and continuing to use Nested List means accepting the new version. We may also change or discontinue the service — if we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data. You can stop using Nested List whenever you like, cancel Premium without deleting your account, or delete the account yourself from Settings → Account.
